Keep trucking and eventually you will find which one best suits you : ) About me I'm always engaged with External Contracts so I need my own truck, but from time to time (achievement-wise) I do some Quick Jobs too. But I'm pretty sure that there are players that never cared do buy a single truck and are perfectly satisfied with Quick Jobs.
I suggest taking something in northern Germany, taking jobs into Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, lower Sweden and Poland. This way your starter truck engine wont be as big a problem because that area is very flat and has good highways/autobahn. Personally I chose Berlin to start at as it has 8 businesses, but so does many other mayor cities.
Cargo jobs can pay way above the freight market. You can find jobs paying almost twice the amount of money per hour that freight jobs if you have the appropriate trailer at the appropriate places. With some patience you can look at different types of cargo jobs with their origins and get into a chain of high paying jobs.
seeing that cargo is limited to the trailer that you have brought, i was wondering what trailer gets the best ones? like the flatbed or the cooler (and yes ik that double trailers pay more)
Euro Truck Simulator 2 exists so you don’t have to get a job driving lorries. It does a fantastic job too and is one of the best truck games we’ve ever played. On the one hand, it’s therapeutic.
Price per distance. I am relatively new to this game and I would like to know how much money per km is a great job offer. I own a truck, but not a trailer. Sometimes the price is at the same level as fast job has. A great job either gives you the cargo you are looking for, takes you where you want to go, or both.
Hi, so I'm only level 8, and I got all the ADR skills. And I see that the most profitable jobs are those related to ADR. Like, there is no reason for me to take other jobs. Even trough I want to take other cargo, but they all pay much less. I also got 2 ranks in "Just in time" skill. (I disabled speed restriction and fines ;) ) I don't really want to take the fragile skill (don't want to drive
Leaving long distance jobs aside (the sole reason why I miss Long Distance 2 - 500km deliveries took approximately 30 minutes to complete, exactly the time I could spare on daily basis), forcing you to play more than 60 minutes non-stop, even highest wage/km jobs could lead you into hellhole with few or no jobs (ahem, Magdeburg).
